HALF DAY TOUR Featuring visits to Guinness Storehouse and the Irish Whiskey Museum with sampling at both locations

Set in the centre of one of the world's most famous breweries, Guinness Storehouse has rapidly become Dublin's 'must see' visitor attraction, celebrating its 1'000'000th visitor in September 2002 - less than 2 years since the doors opened!

The Guinness Storehouse is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity, the bar in the sky, with a complimentary pint of Guinness, and an astonishing view of Dublin! Often surprising, always entertaining, the adventure begins the moment you walk through the door and into the building's giant, pint shaped heart of glass. As you wander up through Guinness Storehouse, you will discover what goes into making the black stuff - the ingredients, the processes, the passion. You will meet Arthur Guinness and find out how the drink that carries his name has been transported around the world. You will see how Guinness has been advertised over the years and visit Guinness, at Home and Abroad.
If you would like a souvenir to remind you of your trip to the home of Guinness, there is plenty to choose from, which stocks an exclusive range of Guinness merchandise.

Set in the heart of Dublin just north of the River Liffey, the Old Jameson Distillery captures the imagination and the spirit of Ireland. Originally built in 1780, this Distillery was once considered one of the largest and finest Distilleries in the world. It has been recreated to its former glory, and is now an award-winning visitor centre. Take a personally guided tour of the Old Distillery. The journey begins with a 10 minute video presentation, entitled 'Uisce Beatha', - the Irish translation for whiskey, and when directly translated means: 'The Water of Life'. Follow the path through the Malting, Milling, Mashing, Fermenting, Distilling and Maturing. Complete the journey with a whiskey tasting in the Jameson Bar. No visit to the Old Jameson Distillery would be complete without a complimentary glass of John Jameson's Irish whiskey in the Jameson Bar, which concludes the guided tour. The Jameson Bar is full of old Jameson marketing slogans and memorabilia depicting how Jameson has been sold throughout the years.
Volunteer visitors are given a tutored tasting, comparing selected Irish Whiskeys against a Scotch and Bourbon Whisk(e)y, for which they will receive a diploma conferring them with the title 'Certified Irish Whiskey Tasters'.
