Courses for small groups of food and wine lovers in an old palazzo in the city centre. These proposals allow the visitors to discover the Tuscan and Florentine culture through its celebrated eno-gatsronomic tradition, too.

Cooking Course with Dinner Season: from 2 Apr. to 17 Nov. - Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Terminal: Piazza S. Trinita, at the Column Meeting: 17:15 (10 minutes earlier at the meeting point) End: around 21:45 Our assistant takes you to a picturesque corner of the historical centre through a pleasant walk. You will live a different and involving experience combining food, art and culture. In an equipped kitchen of a characteristic Florentine home, guided by a skilled Chef you will be taught how to prepare a full typical Tuscan menu and to match wines in about two hour and half time. Guided Wine-Tasting: afternoon Season: from 1 Apr. to 13 Nov. - Tuesday, Thursday Terminal: Piazza S. Trinita, at the Column Meeting: h. 17:15 - (10 minutes earlier at the meeting point) End around: h. 18:45 A pleasant afternoon in a typical and cosy wine shop in the company of an oil and wine expert in order to learn tasting techniques. Brief historical introduction to the wine and Chianti, outline of working in vineyards and olive-yards, wine making and cellars, oil pressing techniques and use of glasses according to wines. Tasting of four prestigious wines and of a smelling extra virgin olive oil, made by selected Tuscan producers. The sensorial analysis follows through visual, olfactory and tasting exam. Cooking course with visit to the market and Lunch Season: from 7 Apr. to 17 Nov. - Monday. Terminal: Piazza Stazione, on the corner with Piazza dell’unitŕ Meeting: 10:00 (10 minutes earlier at the meeting point) End: around 15:00 On this course you can learn to cook a typical everyday Tuscan meal, starting off by choosing the ingredients in season. Under the expert guidance of a multilingual chef, you will visit the historic San Lorenzo central market, where you will select the ingredients that you will then use to prepare a four-course meal (starter, first course, second course and dessert) in a top class cookery school. The course will be followed by lunch with the dishes you have prepared, accompanied by a good Tuscan wine and a fun and friendly atmosphere. - Includes: assistant, course, recipes, lunch with drinks

Handmade Pasta cooking course and Lunch Season: from 5 Apr. to 15 Nov. - Saturday Terminal: Piazza Santa Trinita, at the Column Meeting: 12:00 (10 minutes earlier at the meeting point) End around: h. 15:00 On this course you can learn to make your own real fresh pasta following ancient Italian traditions using flour, eggs and other ingredients. Under the expert guidance of a ultilingual chef, you will learn how to make pasta, both using a rolling pin and a pasta machine. You will make three different types of pasta with three different sauces and a typical Italian dessert. The course will be followed by lunch with the dishes you have prepared, accompanied by a good Tuscan wine and a fun and friendly atmosphere. - Includes: assistance, course, recipes, lunch with drinks

Afternoon excursion to the Chianti area with dinner Season: From 4 March to 31 October - Tuesday and Friday Terminal: Piazza Stazione, at the corner with Piazza dell'Unitŕ Departure: 14:15 (15 minutes earlier at the Terminal) Return: around 22:45 A journey through the Chianti countryside, one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany famous the world over for its wine, to reach a magnificent Castle: a visit to the gardens and the splendid cellar with its the famous barrels of the Chianti Classico wine. Stop for snack and wine tasting, followed by a visit to one of the most beautiful Romanesque churches in the area. For dinner: a typical meal (with rich menu and excellent Chianti wine) in the magical atmosphere of an old village among the hills. The excursions take place in different areas of the Chianti Classico and Chianti Fiorentino wine districts. Weather permitting, dinner will be served in the open.
