6 days - 5 nights package

Day 1:
Arrival, Overnight at Tochni Village Houses
Upon arrival at Larnaca Airport, guests will be greeted and taken via air-conditioned buses to Tochni Village Houses. Once settled in, a welcome drink and a light snack will introduce us to the island.
Overnight will be spent in traditional houses in Tochni village. 

Day 2:
Lemesos (Limassol), Polis Chrysochous, Akamas
Check out from Tochni village houses and drive through Lemesos, to Episkopi to visit the Kourion Archaeological Museum, with a collection of findings from nearby archaeological sites, exhibited in a beautiful old house.

We then proceed to Erimi village and visit the Cyprus Wine Museum, presenting a journey through centuries of Cyprus wine history.

After having gained a good knowledge on the wines of Cyprus we move on to visit the Ancient City of Kourion with its magnificent Greco-Roman Amphitheatre, built in the 2nd century BC. The theatre is fully restored and used for musical and theatrical performances. At the same area, we visit the House of Eustolios, originally a private Roman villa, which became a public recreation centre during the early Christian period. It consists of a complex of baths and a number of rooms with beautiful 5th century, AD mosaic floors.
Follow, we drive to Pafos, making a stop at Petra tou Romiou (the legendary birthplace of the goddess of love and beauty) and then for lunch at Kinyras Tavern.
In the afternoon, we will drive to Polis Chrysochous, where the ancient city-kingdom of Marion, once stood an important commercial centre in the Classical and Hellenistic times.
Before our transfer to the hotel, we pay a short visit to the Baths of Aphrodite, where the legendary goddess used to take her beauty baths in a pool of a natural grotto, shaded by a fig tree.

Day 3:
Pafos, Troodos Mountains
Check out from Aphrodite Beach Hotel and drive to Pafos (the whole town of Pafos is included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the World Heritage) and visit the Tombs of the Kings. Spread over a vast area, these impressive underground tombs date back to the 4th century BC. They are carved out of solid rock with some being decorated with Doric pillars. High officials rather than Kings were buried here, but the magnificence of the tombs gave the locality its name.
Continue to visit the beautiful mosaic floors of the House of Dionysos, dating from the 3rd to the 5th century AD and considered among the finest in the Eastern Mediterranean. Before leaving Pafos, we  take some free time to stroll around the picturesque harbour.

Then, we drive to Anogyra village to visit the c, which consists of an Olive Oil Park and an olive oil museum featuring olive oil extraction methods of the past (millstone, olive press) and various items related to the storage and uses of the olive oil as well as its history, an olive store specializing in olive products, a visitors’ centre, a state-of-the-art ecological olive mill, bottling, and storing facilities. We will have the opportunity to compare the extraction methods of the past to the modern process of the ecological olive mill.  At the restaurant of the park we will enjoy a buffet lunch consisting of a number of traditional dishes and deserts.
In the afternoon we will drive to a wine producing village, Koilani, to visit one of the regional wineries.
Dinner and overnight at New Helvetia Hotel in Platres.


Day 4:
Mountain Villages
Having climbed toward the ranges of Troodos Mountains, we drive to Kakopetria to visit the church of Ayios Nicolaos tis Stegis - completely painted with murals dating from the 11th to the 17th century and is considered one of the most fascinating Byzantine churches on the island. We then visit the picturesque, old quarter of the village, which has been declared a protected area and traditional houses have been restored
We next visit Lagoudera, to visit the 12th century church of Panayia tou Araka. It has frescoes, which are some of the finest of the late Comnenian style (c1192) prevailing throughout Greece, the Balkans and Russia.
Lunch
Driving through the picturesque village of Agros, will introduce us to its unique homemade products traditional to Cyprus culture. Small privately owned home industries invite visitors to see the various processes required to manufacture chemical free delicious wine, fruit preserves, sweets and liqueurs as well as aromatic oils and perfumed candles.
Rosa Damascena, a rose bush brought to Cyprus in antiquity from Mesopotamia is extensively and exclusively cultivated at Agros. It produces a bright pink flower whose delicate petals and intoxicating smell are a source of delightful concoctions.
In the House of Roses we will have the opportunity to see how hand made pottery for the storage of the products is made, the process of perfumed candle making and taste things such as rose aperitif, rose liqueurs, rose water and rose wine.
At Niki’s Sweets House, observe how women turn seasonal fruits into mouth-watering marmalades and jellies. From a large array of whole fruit preserves, “karydaki” (young tender walnuts) and their famous “soutzouko” made from fresh grape juice, flour and almonds are highly sought after (opportunity to be involved in preparation and sample some of the products).
Dinner and overnight at Rodon Hotel / Agros

Day 5:
Lefkosia (Nicosia) the capital of Cyprus, Governor’s Beach
Check out from Rodon Hotel and drive to Lefkosia, lying at the centre of the island. It has a rich history that can be traced back to the Bonze Age. It only became capital of the island in the 11th century AD.
We first drive via the 16th century Venetian walls, which in ancient time protected the heart of the city. Here, we visit the Cyprus Archaeological Museum, housing a priceless and fascinating collection of Cypriot antiquities and treasures from the Neolithic Age to the Early Byzantine period.
A stroll in Laiki Yitonia, a restored 19th century quarter and Chrysaliniotissa, will take us to the Archbishopric, where we visit the Byzantine Icons Museum, containing the largest collection of icons on the island, covering the period from the 9th to the 18th century, and the Cathedral of St John built in 1662.
Afternoon free
Dinner and overnight at Thalassa Resort in Governor’s Beach. 

Day 6:
After breakfast we will be transferred to Larnaca Airport for Departure.
