Enogastronomic Experiences

RICE TOUR WITH TASTING AND COOKING LESSON
The province of Verona extends southward from the city to the Padana Plain, a vast panorama of lowlands dominated by the cultivation of cereals and rice, and interrupted only by  he solemn flow of the Adige River and tributaries of the Po. The lowlands, or Bassa, have a melancholy charm that recall man’s relationship to the land, the cyclical nature of the seasons, and the vibrant colours of autumn, dimmed only by the first fog.
In the heart of the Rice Vialone Nano Veronese, in Isola della Scala, the guide will explain the risorgives and their importance for the cultivation of the rice in the past and with the modern technologies. At the end of the visit the Pila Vecia is reached, where Ferron family has produced rice since 1650. At the end of the visit it’ll take place a rice based tasting, from the appetizer to the dessert.    For the impassioned rice lovers there is also the possibility to book cooking lessons with professionals Chef that will introduce them to the typical recipes of the territory. The best period to pay a visit is from April to the first week of October.
The duration of the visit is about 2 hours with the tasting, with the cooking lesson it’ll take at least 3 hours.

PROSECCO WINE
North of Venice lies the wine region of Prosecco DOC di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene. This is the land of Palladian villas and gentle rolling hills covered in vines and noble manors. The darling village of Conegliano is full of 15th to 18th century palaces, many of them with Venetian Gothic façades. Vineyards surround the town, mainly of Prosecco grape, used to make the famed Italian bubbly. We have organized this luxury wine tasting excursion for those of you visiting Venice who would love a pampering wine experience.
