South Moravia - History and excellent wines

 

April - October • 4 days/ 3nights / Route: PRAGUE - SOUTH MORAVIA - PRAGUE

Day 1 - Prague
Arrival in Prague. Check-in. Leisure time.
Overnight in Prague.

Day 2 - Prague
Breakfast. Departure for sightseeing tour of Prague. Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight in Prague.

Day 3 - Prague - Brno - Lednice/Velké Bílovice - (250 km) 
Breakfast. Departure for South Moravia via Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. A short sightseeing tour of Brno. In the afternoon, continue to South Moravia. En route, a short stop at a Pavlov or Mikulov wine shop with a wine-tasting. Drive to Lednice to visit the Lednice Chateau. Overnight in Lednice
or continue to Velké Bílovice, a Moravian wine village.
Dinner, followed by a visit to a local wine shop to taste the famous local wine, with music and a small refreshment.
Overnight in Lednice or Velké Bílovice.

Day 4 - South Moravia - Prague (250 km)
Breakfast. Departure for Valtice, to visit the Valtice Chateau. Continue to the small wine village Šatov, for an excursion to painted winecellars and a wine-tasting. In the afternoon, return to Prague. The tour ends in Prague.
