Wine tasting and tile painting
Star the tour by crossing Lisbon’ suspension bridge to the southern bank of Tagus River – (this magnificent engineering work has remarkable resemblances to the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco).
Drive to the charming village of Azeitão for a visit to the JMF winery, one of the oldest Family of Wine producers and distributers in Portugal of several excellent table wines from properties in different parts of the country, Among their most famous wines are – the Lancers Rosé wine and the unique “Moscatel “ a generous wine produced in this area of Mediterranean micro climate – The Moscatel can be consumed chilled as an aperitif or as an after dinner drink “chambré” (room temperature). Their newest success is the alcohol free - Lancers Rosé wine, presented this summer. After a visit to the century old wine cellars the guests are invited to taste the wine.
Stop at a nearby small tile factory, you are welcome to learn the traditional process, dating from the 18th century, of manufacturing and hand painting tiles. Paint your own tile and have it delivered at your hotel the next day. Lunch will take place at
