 In one of his marvellous poems on "the flat country which belongs to him", Emile Verhaeren says that if the mayors are the princes of our towns, the brewers are the kings of them ! The author wrote that over a century ago. During those times there were more than 3000 breweries in our little corner of the globe, and in some villages they reckon there were more than a hundred breweries left.
THE WINE ROAD
Stop in the country of flavours and wine traditions. Aligoté, balsamique, empyreumatique, … are «strange» terms that, once the initiate journey finished, won’t have any secret for you. The discovery of the wines will take place in exceptional natural surroundings.
